Fendi: an inflatable chalet in the new exhibition spaces of Franz Kraler in Dobbiaco.
Fendi presents in Dobbiaco, in preview in Italy, its first collection dedicated to the high mountains. The setting is a suggestive inflatable chalet housed inside the renovated and expanded luxury department store of Franz Kraler, which, after choosing an architecture compatible and integrated with nature, almost self-sufficient in terms of energy and consumption, adds to the structure two underground floors, perfectly hidden that capture the sunlight through a long glass window and a wall in gold leaf.
The Fendi collection combines touches of playful eccentricity with high technology to materials worked with innovative techniques, the Leisurewear collection offers modern outfits suitable for all occasions, from ski slopes, tennis courts to the gym, from weekend walks in the city to intimate days in the mountain chalet. The women's line focuses on a new technical brocade in gold or black colors.
It is a reinterpretation of the material used in ski suits, for windbreakers, leggings, and sweatshirts.
Iconic pieces like the tracksuit are printed to resemble fur, including a nylon lynx-patterned jacket, punctuated by fox details. The iconic Pequin micro-stripes are printed in graphic combinations of black and white, as well as black and blue and orange.
