11th edition Cortina Short Film Festival - installation "the gesture in art"
The luxury multibrand Franz Kraler in Dobbiaco and Cortina d’Ampezzo is once again the official sponsor of the eleventh edition of the event and donates a cash prize to the best short film overall. Franz Kraler's attention to every form of art is visible in the boutique's windows at Corso Italia 92, with the artistic installation of Alacre Duna, created in collaboration with director Michele Colman, entitled The Gesture of Art. Throughout the festival, video performances of great exponents of modern and contemporary art were projected in sequence, through the editing of the "gestures" of artistic creation. An homage to "Performative Practice" involving the body of the author, the spectator, or both: an effect of the creation/destruction of the painting in space and time, a characteristic of the entire twentieth century. The films in competition were broadcast at the multimedia stations of Franz Kraler's square at Corso Italia 107: a party for everyone.
