In 1917 the tailoring master, Cristóbal Balenciaga, founded his eponymous brand, distorting the classic lines of women's clothing and redefining the concept of modernity and elegance. In 2015 Demna Gvasalia was appointed Creative Director of the Maison: faithful to the founder's vision, the Georgian designer enhances the innovative and revolutionary style of the Maison, pushing beyond the boundaries and experimenting with fabrics, innovative techniques and cuts.
