On November 28, 2021, the final of the second edition of the prestigious UK Fashion Film Festival took place in Manchester, an international competition dedicated to fashion works from around the world. Call to the Wild, the Italian fashion film produced by Maison Franz Kraler, written and directed by Arturo Delle Donne in his debut narrative work, won the award for Best Direction and received nominations for Best Story and Best Cinematography, showcasing its cinematic aesthetic.
Style, cinema, and untouched nature are the three key elements of the fashion film shot in the picturesque mountains of Dobbiaco and entirely produced and distributed by the award-winning production house West 46Th Films by Alessandro Parrello, known for the international vision of its productions.
Call to the Wild takes us to the borders of the most pristine and wild Italy, where four protagonists of different ethnicities get lost among wolves and nocturnal animals to rediscover themselves and be reborn with a new awareness. Franz Kraler confirms itself as a visionary and innovative brand, willing to bet on a new way of communicating fashion cinematically to reach a wider audience.
Among the Italian fashion houses featured in the film are Gucci, Valentino, Prada, and Moncler.
The fashion film will be exclusively presented to the audience in Cortina D'Ampezzo starting from December 4, during the Cortina Fashion Week, where an open-air cinema with 1950s wooden armchairs will be set up at the Kraler store. Subsequently, the short film will continue its journey in festivals around the world.
