MAISON MARGIELA

Founded in 1988 in Paris, Maison Margiela is known for an avant-garde and non-conformist aesthetic. Belgian designer Martin Margiela founded the fashion house of the same name and dedicated his collections to a choice of high-quality fabrics and careful craftsmanship. The common thread of the Parisian Maison is the concept of subversion of forms, making fashion an artistic expression. In 2014 John Galliano was appointed Creative Director, giving life to a deconstructed aesthetic where feminine and masculine merge in classic silhouettes, an expression of his creative mastery. The white label with the four stitches, the numerical code and the paint brushstrokes are the distinctive elements of Margiela, representing the true stylistic signature of the Maison.
